Trip Introduction

The Annapurna Community Trek is a wonderful short trekking adventure that takes you beyond the popular tourist trails into the heart of Nepal’s welcoming mountain communities. Designed for travelers seeking authentic local experiences, this eco-friendly trek combines beautiful Himalayan landscapes, peaceful forests, traditional villages, and comfortable community lodges while directly supporting local families and sustainable tourism.

Organized by Corporate Adventure Treks Pvt. Ltd., a trusted government-registered trekking company in Nepal since 2015, this carefully planned journey offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich culture of the Magar people while enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery.

Beginning with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor, the trail passes through charming villages including Bas Kharka, Nangi, Mohare Danda, Tikot, and Baiseri. Along the way, you will walk through rhododendron forests, orange orchards, peaceful farmlands, and quiet mountain paths rarely visited by large trekking groups.

One of the greatest highlights of this trek is Mohare Danda (3,300m), one of Nepal’s finest panoramic viewpoints. From here, enjoy unforgettable sunrise and sunset views over some of the world’s highest mountains, including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, Tukuche Peak, and many other Himalayan giants.

The Annapurna Community Trek is much more than a mountain walk. It is a meaningful cultural journey where every overnight stay in community lodges helps improve local education, healthcare, village development, and sustainable tourism projects. Travelers also have the chance to learn about traditional village life, visit local schools (when appropriate), discover handmade paper production, and experience the genuine hospitality that makes Nepal so special.

With moderate walking distances, a maximum elevation of only 3,300 meters, and comfortable accommodation throughout the journey, this trek is suitable for beginners, families, nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking for a peaceful Himalayan experience away from the busy trekking routes.
