Trip Introduction

Kongde Trek – A Hidden Himalayan Escape

The Kongde Trek is a peaceful journey into one of the quieter corners of Nepal’s Everest region. Perfect for travelers looking beyond the popular trails, this trek combines spectacular mountain scenery, traditional Sherpa culture, and comfortable trekking through beautiful forests and alpine landscapes.

Organized by Corporate Adventure Treks Pvt. Ltd., this carefully designed adventure begins in Kathmandu before a scenic flight to Lukla. From there, the trail follows the beautiful Dudh Koshi Valley through welcoming Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries, and peaceful mountain paths.

One of the highlights is the famous village of Namche Bazaar, where you can experience local culture, colorful markets, and breathtaking Himalayan views while allowing your body to adjust to the altitude.

The journey continues to the historic village of Thame, a place rich in Sherpa heritage and known as the birthplace of many legendary climbers. The peaceful monastery and surrounding landscapes offer a wonderful glimpse into local traditions.

From Thame, the trail climbs toward Kongde, one of the most rewarding viewpoints in the Khumbu region. Here you will enjoy magnificent panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, and many other snow-covered Himalayan peaks. The peaceful surroundings and fewer visitors make Kongde an unforgettable destination for nature lovers and photographers.

A relaxing day at Kongde gives you time to enjoy the mountain scenery or hike to Farak Ri, where sunrise lights up the Himalayan skyline in beautiful golden colors.

For an unforgettable finale, you may choose an optional Everest Base Camp helicopter flight, offering spectacular aerial views of glaciers, valleys, and the world’s highest mountain before returning to Kathmandu with lasting memories of Nepal’s incredible Himalayas.
