Day To Day Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You can rest and prepare for the upcoming expedition.

Day 2

This day is dedicated to trip preparation. You will have a pre-expedition briefing, meet your climbing team, and finalize any necessary paperwork and equipment preparations.

Day 3

Take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, begin your trek to Phakding, a small village situated along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 4

Continue your trek along the trail, crossing suspension bridges and passing through beautiful Sherpa villages. Reach Namche Bazaar, the bustling commercial hub of the Khumbu region.

Day 5

Acclimatization is crucial for your body to adjust to the increasing altitude. Spend the day in Namche Bazaar, exploring the town and taking short hikes to higher elevations.

Day 6

Resume your trek and follow the trail that offers stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Reach Debuche, a small village with a famous monastery called Tengboche.

Day 7

Continue ascending towards Pheriche, passing through forests and enjoying the picturesque landscapes. Pheriche is a popular stop for acclimatization.

Day 8

Take another acclimatization day in Pheriche to help your body adapt to the altitude. You can go for short hikes or simply relax and enjoy the surrounding views.

Day 9

Leave Pheriche and make your way to the Ama Dablam Base Camp. Trek through the scenic terrain, gradually gaining altitude and reaching the base camp of Ama Dablam.

Day 10

Spend the day at the base camp for acclimatization and pre-climb training. You will receive guidance and instruction on climbing techniques and safety protocols from your expedition leaders.

Day 11

This period is dedicated to the ascent and descent of Ama Dablam. The exact schedule will depend on weather conditions, team dynamics, and individual climbing abilities. The climb will involve setting up camps, navigating technical sections, and aiming for the summit.

Day 12

After descending from Ama Dablam Base Camp, you will trek back to Thyangboche. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the spiritual ambiance of Tengboche Monastery.

Day 13

Continue your descent from Thyangboche to Namche Bazaar. You will retrace your steps along the trail, passing through the Sherpa villages and enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 14

Descend further from Namche Bazaar to Phakding to Lukla. The trail will take you through picturesque landscapes, crossing suspension bridges and passing through local villages. Continue your trek to Lukla, where you will catch an early flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Lukla, you will be transferred to Khumbu Resort, a teahouse lodge in Lukla, where you will spend the night.

Day 15

Catch an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. This day is free for you to explore the city, relax, or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

Day 16

Take a well-deserved rest day in Kathmandu. You can explore the city, visit cultural sites, go shopping for souvenirs, or simply relax and rejuvenate after your challenging expedition.

Day 17

Your Ama Dablam Expedition comes to an end. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Depart from Kathmandu with unforgettable memories of your adventure in the Himalayas.
