After your arrival in Paro, you will be received by our company representative and transferred to the Thimpu. Welcome dinner is held in the hotel and a short brief about your trip is given. Overnight stay at Thimpu.
Today our journey start after breakfast, from the memorial chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wngchuk in the heart Thimpu town. The Tashichodzong,”The fortress of the auspicious religion.”
In the afternoon stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kind of traditional handicraft product of Bhutan. And back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Thimpu.

After breakfast drive over the spectacular Dochula pass (3,100m) to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha. Later visit the historic Punakha Dzong, once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dzong is sprawled between the Phochu and Mochu rivers. Overnight stay at Punakha.
Duration: 7-8 hours drive
Today we have early breakfast and head drive to the Bhumathang valley through the Yotola Pass (3440 m). This valley is considered a very sacred place for the Bhutanese with many temples and holy places. Overnight at Bhumathang.
After having a breakfast we will drive to Mebartsho (is called burning lake). This george of the holy site and pilgrimage place where Guru Rimpoche had hidden some religious treasures later discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa. Visit the Swiss farm where you can buy excellent local cheese. Later afternoon visit the Jakar Dzong (castle of white bird). Built in 1549 this Dzong houses the administrative center of Bhumathang village. Visit Kurjey Lhakang, the most sacred and popular monastery in Bhumathang. Overnight at Bhumathang.
Duration: 7-8 hours drive
Drive back to Thimpu via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang. Upon reach thimpu check in hotel and free relax.

Paro is a historic town of Bhutan. It has several historic buildings and sacred sites that are scattered all across the area. Along with the Punakha and Jakar, Paro forms a ‘golden triangle’ of the prominent destinations of Bhutan. Undisturbed scenic beauty, craggy mountain hills, peaceful atmosphere and clean air definitely make it a must visit place in Bhutan. One thing that attracts several visitors to Paro is the Rinpung Dzong which is one of the most striking examples of a typical monastery of Bhutan. Dzong is known to host the festival of masks which is locally known as the Paro Tsechu. Making a visit during this time can be fruitful. Apart from this, the National Museum of Paro is another must see attraction which attracts several visitors.
